On Thursday 26th September, students at WIS celebrated The European Day of Languages. This was marked with a whole week of lessons in the MFL department looking at the European Union and its member states.
Students were given a 'Passport to the EU' with stickers of flags, money and landmarks to match with information about the many EU countries.
We also looked at a story called 'The Mystery of the Golden Stars' which took us on an adventure to Brussels, the home of The European Parliament.
Staff integrated some internationalism into their lessons, and students put together a display showing what they had learned about the EU member states.
The very youngest children also learnt some simple Welsh.
